Arrived in Iceland
by docsmartypants

Hello! Stacey and I arrived safely in Iceland early this morning, and, after a dark, windy drive, a light breakfast, and a short nap, we spent most of the day in Reykjavik. We’re having a good time and enjoying the strangeness of everything around us. We’re supposed to go see the Northern Lights tonight, but if I have the energy when we get back from that I’ll try to give you an idea of what else we’ve seen so far.

In the meantime, here is a photo I took at the Culture House. Feel free to caption it as you see fit.

How weird is that! I think that picture would make a great tee shirt for GA.
Glad you made it ok. Iceland in March????????

This looks like a scene from Spartacus. The Dominus is purchasing slaves to train to be gladiators – maybe I’ve been watching too much Spartacus.

I don’t know- it looks like priestly hanky panky to me.

I think there are clearly shenanigans going on in that picture. That’s all I will say.

As for Iceland in March, Mom, it really isn’t worse than Boston in March. Except for today when we have had a stupid storm raging. But I don’t think that is so much a problem with March in Iceland—more of a problem of bad luck in general.

I now understand why Iceland was hope to the Phallus museum.

I didn’t even *see* this. I feel that you created this with the power of your mind. MAYBE YOU HAVE SECOND SIGHT.
